Proverbs 3:1-12

I. Proverbs connects faithfulness to God's Truth with long life,

II. Proverbs connects faithfulness to God's Truth with a good reputation,

III. Proverbs connects comprehensive faithfulness to Christ with avoidance
of moral failure, but this connection is not unconditional (v5-6)

IV. Proverbs connects Christian humility and a hatred of evil
with physical health, but this connection is not unconditional (v7-8)

V. Proverbs connects the believer's surrender of money to the LORD
with material blessing, but this connection is not unconditional (v9-10)

VI. Proverbs connects disobedience to the LORD
with sickness or suffering, but this connection is not unconditional (v11-12)
