Cool Community Church

Welcome to Extreme Velocity, Cool Community Church's youth group designed especially for Jr. Highers! We would like to introduce ourselves. The leaders of this group are :

David and Linda McGillicuddy , Charlie and Karen Rogers, Drew and Janet Lomas, Sean Lomas, and Colin Lomas our worship leader.

Our meetings together include games, fellowship, worship, a topic message, and small group discussions using Biblical principles to those topics.

Some of the topics we will be addressing are important issues for preteens, such as getting closer to God, challenging them to grow their faith, relationships with family members and friends, honesty, forgiveness, the media and the world around them, as well as incorporating some service projects.

Purpose:	To help our youth to enter their teenage years with a stronger faith, a better understanding of applying Scripture to life's choices, and a commitment to do what God wants them to do.
Goal:	To deepen their faith and take the challenge of living it out every day; to turn to the Bible and God for decision-making and understanding in the choices they face, and having their faith influence those choices.
Mission:	To live according to God's Word
Verse:	"Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prized." - I Corinthians 9:25-27
